The Role The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored educational support to pupils with a variety of SEN needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Support teaching staff in creating inclusive and engaging classroom environments. Use a variety of strategies to promote learning, independence, and positive behaviour. Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive learning atmosphere. Requirements: Previous UK-based experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant (essential). Strong understanding of a range of SEN needs, such as ASD, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents/carers. Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with children. A relevant Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential). Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
