We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business that’s looking for a proactive and organised Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team. This is a full-time, office-based role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, offering a competitive salary of £25,000–£27,000 per year.
This role would suit a graduate in Accounting or Finance looking to start their career, or an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a stable and supportive environment.

About the Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in supporting the Finance Manager with the day-to-day running of the accounts function. You’ll handle tasks such as credit control, raising invoices, data input on Sage, reconciliations, and supporting both the sales and purchase ledger functions. This is a busy, varied role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to grow and develop your skills within a stable and supportive business.
What we’re looking for
* Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Confident communication skills and a clear telephone manner
* Experience with Sage (desirable, but training can be provided)
* Great organisation skills and attention to detail
* A proactive approach and ability to work as part of a team
