Overview:
Pareto is looking to employ an experienced Facilities Manager to manage one of our key accounts. The successful candidate will be able to prove exceptional experience in people management, process implementation and ownership of day-to-day operations. We are looking for an exceptional communicator that will be able to manage an integrated service team and multiple stakeholders, whilst always keeping the highest levels of service. We need someone that is ambitious, self-driven, professional and the hardest worker in the room. This role will be based on site with the client and will report to our central Account Management team. There is no remote work available in this role.
Key responsibilities:
* Ownership of day-to-day operations.
* Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of hard services, soft services and in-house events.
* Development & coordination of our onsite team in the above areas.
* Weekly operational briefings with the client representatives to explain the operational challenges and opportunities across the site.
* Completion of quarterly management reports that cover all services across the site.
* Reviewing & leading implementation of standard operating procedures for all base functions, PPM’s, and reactive works that are needed.
* Completion of all compliance related tasks for the in-house team, including onboarding new hires, overtime approvals, holiday approvals, employee appraisals, team development, salary reviews and disciplinary procedures for direct reports.
* Ensuring that all deliverable services are covered in case of team holiday, sickness or emergency.
* Manage subcontractors effectively, ensuring they are working in line with client specifications and delivering value for money.
* Actioning maintenance tickets on client CAFM systems and ensuring KPIs are adhered to.
* Tier one support for any actionable maintenance tickets i.e., HVAC, minor electrical issues, etc.
* M&E Subcontractor management – Ensuring that all PPMs are on Elogs CAFM
* Responsible for overall delivery of all statutory requirements for the site.
* Ownership of small and medium sized projects for clients.
* Supporting the client with their relationship with the building management team.
* Supporting the Health & Safety Manager in developing and delivering a robust health & safety management system, both for the client and for the internal team.
Essential Criteria:
* Suitable, recent and relevant FM experience (ideally 3+ years).
* A thorough understanding of M&E service delivery, or a technical background is essential.
* Strong knowledge of FM service delivery across all services lines.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills.
* Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
* Strong IT skills.
* Ability to manage your own workload and work on your own initiative.
* Ability to effectively manage workload & delegate work where necessary to direct reports.
* Ability to work in and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
* Comfortable challenging poor standards of behavior and developing a change management plan, as necessary.
* Ability to collaborate cooperatively with other stakeholders to complete tasks and implement process improvements.
Desired:
* A IWFM qualification (or similar) level 4 or above.
* IOSH Level 3 Managing Safely.
* Experience working as a 3rd party service provider to clients.
