We are currently seeking an Assistant Head Teacher based at our SEN School in Bedford.
This school is a friendly and successful provision, currently supporting a number of vulnerable young children aged 7-18 years with special education needs.
The role would be ideal for qualified teachers who have acted as middle leaders, and are aspiring to their first senior leadership role. 14. The ability to provide leadership to the teaching team, enabling them to develop outstanding outcomes for our learners
15. A willingness to act as a delegated authority in the absence of the Headteacher.

17. The ability to form effective relationships with young people, their families (if appropriate) and external agencies
18. To ensure that young people’s views and wishes are sought and acted upon where appropriate
19. Ensure that appropriate resources and environment exist for individual pupils referred to the service, and that opportunity for inclusion are available to all our students
20. To contribute to the relevant sections of the self-evaluation
21. To liaise with other teachers and teaching assistants in the team to ensure effective deployment of resources
