Psychology Graduate – Teaching Assistant Opportunities (Primary & Secondary)

Pay: £85–£100 per day
Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable, practical experience working with children and young people? We are supporting a number of primary and secondary schools across Wigan who are seeking motivated and compassionate graduates to join their teams as Teaching Assistants.
This is an excellent opportunity to build experience in education, behaviour support, SEN and wellbeing—ideal for those considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, mental health or youth work.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support
* Assist pupils with additional needs, including SEN and SEMH
* Support classroom learning alongside the class teacher
* Help manage behaviour and promote emotional regulation
* Build positive, supportive relationships with students
* Contribute to a calm, inclusive and safe learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
* A Psychology (or related) graduate
* Strong communication, empathy and resilience
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people
* Experience with children is beneficial but not essential
