Your newpany are a market leader in their field and are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Your new role will include but not be limited to:
1. Input of high volume invoices for various entities
2. Checking for errors including entities, nominal ledger coding, analysis coding, currency, VAT code and correct supplier account selection
3. Holding invoices not approved
4. Weekly payment runs
5. Supplier statement reconciliations
6. Validating VAT and Withholding Tax returns for accuracy
7. Controlling contractor weekly and monthly invoices
8. Maintaining control spreadsheet
9. Liaising with contractors and agencies for missing invoices
10. Other ad hoc tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed
11. Experience in a purchase ledger role previously dealing with high volumes and values
12. Experience of entering multi-currency and multipany invoices
13. Excellent data entry skills - speed and accuracy
14. UK VAT knowledge
15. Attention to detail
16. Good working use of Microsoft Excel
