Description
Riverside Environmental Services Ltd is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, re-engaging dormant accounts, and managing the full sales cycle within a B2B, consultative service-led environment.
Location: Kent or Birmingham
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum + uncapped OTE
(Expected first-year earnings circa £40,000)

Key Responsibilities
* Complete a structured 4-week training and onboarding programme covering company services, sales processes, and target strategy
* Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through: Outbound B2B sales activity (prospecting, nurturing, converting new business)
* Account management of lapsed and dormant clients
* Maintain accurate records and pipeline updates using the CRM system (HubSpot desirable)
* Liaise internally with technical departments to obtain pricing and prepare detailed proposals
* Negotiate terms with clients to secure new and repeat business
* Consistently meet performance targets, with progression opportunities linked to results
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Proven experience in B2B consultative sales within a service-based industry
* Strong communication skills (telephone, email, and face-to-face)
* Confident, enthusiastic, and results-driven approach
* High level of organisation and time management
* IT literate, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems (HubSpot desirable)
