GSL Education are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a supportive and inclusive school in Peacehaven. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role where you will deliver lessons, support pupils’ progress, and contribute to a positive school environment.

Your Responsibilities as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across different year groups in the teacher’s absence.
* Support teaching and learning through small group and 1:1 intervention.
* Assist in monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to class teachers.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and adapt learning activities.
* Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
Requirements:
* Experience supporting pupils in a primary or secondary school setting.
* Confidence in leading lessons and managing classroom routines.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
