Delivery Postie with Driving Royal Mail role. Job reference: 327916. Location: Egremont Delivery Office, CA22 2RB. Job type: Permanent contract. Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 5 days per week across Monday - Sunday, 09:00 to 14:30. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Sundays from 12:30 to 18:00, at Whitehaven Delivery Office, on a rota basis.

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £12.54p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours)
* Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for hours over 40 per week

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
Responsibilities and Requirements
* Deliver mail and packages on a local route with care for customers and communities
* Maintain a high level of customer service and represent Royal Mail in the community
* This is a physical job requiring walking and outdoor work in various weather conditions
* Hold a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
