This role is perfect for someone eager to provide exceptional design and professional services across various sectors, catering to both public and private clients.
Location & Hours
Location: Cambridge, Gerrards Cross, Lincoln, or Nottingham
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – enjoy some flexibility in your schedule!
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + benefits
Note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
Your Responsibilities
As a Building Surveyor, you will be an integral part of our Architecture & Building Consultancy team. Your expertise will help us deliver top-notch building surveying services, including:
* Conducting surveys of existing buildings and sites.
* Providing detailed reports on building conditions and advising on repairs, maintenance, and improvements.
* Guiding clients on health & safety, environmental sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
* Traveling to various locations across the UK for site inspections and client meetings.
Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Include:
* Undertaking surveys and developing feasibility studies for maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and more.
* Assisting clients in procuring contractors for various projects.
* Project managing the delivery of solutions and administering construction contracts.
* Conducting quality assurance checks and supporting colleagues in larger projects.
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients to foster business development.
What We’re Looking For
This role is a great fit for you if:
* You hold a Degree level qualification (minimum HNC/HND) in a relevant discipline or a RICS accredited degree.
* You are working towards Chartered status through RICS or CIOB.
* You have a solid background in building surveying, with experience across various building types and sectors.
* You are familiar with procurement processes and have experience in contract administration.
