Role Overview Reporting to the Software & Electronics Technical Lead, your role as an Electronics Design Engineer will be vital in supporting the future development and expansion of the Electronics team. This is a hands-on role where you can apply your knowledge of Electronics Design all the way from requirements capture, to schematic layout and board bring-up, across ETLs extensive range of products. This will include mixed-signal circuits, efficient low noise power domains and integration of System on Module and Microprocessor circuits Key Accountabilities Capture design requirements into design documentation and schematics Good knowledge of analogue and digital electronics design including simulation, modelling and noise-aware designs Proficient with Altium Designer for schematic capture Skills in Python and or C/C++ to support board bring up and debug Be able to preform hands-on troubleshooting, debugging and optimisation of prototype and production boards Support production of clear documentation, design reports and test plans Our ideal candidate We are seeking a skilled and driven Electronics Design Engineer with experience of supporting systems and senior engineers with taking design ideas and specifications and turning them into reality. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working on complex multi signal circuits, containing analogue conditioning and high-speed digital signals. Experience of designs including Microcontroller and System on Modules and their support components is essential. This role will require the design engineer to provide board bring up support so a working knowledge of C/C++, Python and Embedded Linux to support testing is highly desirable but not essential. Location: Hybrid working is available for this role. This roles requires you to work on-site at our R&D office in Rickmansworth.
