About the Role

We are looking for a Product Compliance & Automation Engineer to take ownership of the research, creation and maintenance of our product content that powers and automates the Inforcer platform. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure that any content libraries used in our platform are accurate, up to date, and high-quality. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product management, engineering, and technical content creation.

What you'll be doing

Intune App & Script Content
* Building and maintaining PowerShell scripts for software deployment, updates, and removals.
* Ensuring all scripts are secure, efficient, and well-documented.
* Validating these installers in multiple environments.
M365 Compliance Libraries
* Creating and maintaining compliance checks and alerts, defined in JSON or Open Policy Agent (OPA) policies.
* Collaborating with product and security teams to translate regulatory and framework requirements into actionable checks.
* Continuously updating libraries as standards evolve.
Microsoft 365 Configuration Library
* Working with our team of MVPs to source the best practices for configuring M365 environments.
* Developing and maintaining a library of Microsoft 365 policies and settings that can be deployed and managed via Inforcer.
* Ensuring policies are well-structured, tested, and aligned with best practices and customer needs.
Content Lifecycle Management
* Establishing processes for versioning, testing, and releasing content updates.
* Maintaining clear documentation for internal teams and end users.

Skills We Need for This Role
* Strong experience with PowerShell scripting for software deployment and system management.
* Familiarity with compliance frameworks and translating them into technical checks (NIST, ISO, CIS, Cyber Essentials, etc).
* Understanding of Microsoft 365 policies and settings.
* Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and security.
* Experience working hand in hand with engineering and product teams to deliver content in a fast paced production environment.
* Ability to manage a backlog of content improvements and deliver iteratively.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience in an MSP or SaaS environment.
* Experience with JSON or OPA
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for content delivery.
* Background in IT security, compliance, or automation tooling.
