We are currently looking for a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) to join our dynamic team across Forcewide Locations! Hours of Work: This is a full-time role working an average of 37 hours per week, with a varied shift pattern to ensure maximum community coverage. As a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), you will provide vital reassurance and support to local communities. Your role will involve working closely with operational Police Officers and partner organisations to address issues such as public nuisance and community safety. You will be at the forefront of local policing, engaging with the community across four key areas: General, Traffic, Environment, and Reassurance. Your contribution will enable the police to focus on adaptive policing priorities while you provide effective support services on the ground. Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Requirements: 4 GCSEs (Grade 4-9/ A-C) including English Language or Literature, or a recognised equivalent qualification. At least two years' experience in a role that utilises interpersonal and communication skills. A full current driving licence to operate manual vehicles. Ability to successfully complete the National Sift process, followed by an assessment centre at HQ. Strong commitment to the values of public service and community engagement. Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Benefits: Competitive salary: Scale 3 £24,222 - £25,626, with a shift allowance of 12.5% and a weekend working allowance of 10.8%.
