Job Overview
We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our community pharmacy team in Hellesdon.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to train as a Level 3 GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with Accuracy Checking (ACT) training, through a fully accredited programme. You'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment while completing structured study and assessments toward GPhC registration.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense and label medicines accurately and efficiently
* Assist with over-the-counter queries and provide advice under supervision
* Support the pharmacist with daily operations and clinical services
* Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance
* Help manage inventory, ordering, and restocking
* Attend scheduled study sessions and complete coursework toward your NVQ Level 3 qualification
Training Provided
* Enrolment onto a GPhC-accredited Level 3 Pharmacy Technician programme
* 6 hours/week of paid study time during working hours
* Online tutor support, live virtual classes, and on-site workplace supervision
* Includes Final Accuracy Checking (ACT) and medicines optimisation training
Requirements
* GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) in Maths, English, and Science
* Good communication and attention to detail
* Ability to work reliably and professionally as part of a team
* Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, or healthcare is desirable but not essential
* Must have the right to work in the UK and have been ordinarily resident for the last 3 years
