Teaching Music at KS3 & KS4We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Music Teacher. This is a part-time role, working 4 days a week (excluding Tuesdays), until at least February Half Term. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Job Description
Delivering engaging and creative Music lessons.
Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
Recent experience teaching Music at secondary school level.
Strong behaviour/classroom management.
