About the role:
As a Senior Bridal Assistant, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability of the Bridal Suite by having an in-depth knowledge of the products and staying attuned to the unique needs of every Bride. You will serve as an inspirational role model, playing a key part in the leadership team, you will help the store team stay connected to the bridal department, offering training and guidance for them to offer the same high levels of Bridal service and have a strong understanding of the product and how the department operates.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will have Key Holder responsibilities for opening and closing the store, ensuring the safety and security of the building when locking up.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to exceed service expectations and drive sales growth.
* Be knowledgeable across the Bridal and Occasion range and be able offer expert advice for all events. Confidently cross-sell products throughout the store.
* Manage all appointments through our simplybook system and follow up accordingly via email post appointment
* Have a strong understanding of bridal stock package and work closely with HO teams to identify opportunities within the range and providing valuable feedback.
* Ensure stock is well always maintained, manage dry cleaning where needed and ensure all stock is accounted for via regular inventory checks, working in tandem with the stock team
* Maintain knowledge of all in-store services offered to customers and identify opportunities to increase sales through recommending additional services.
* Efficiently process customer transactions, including refunds, while providing a smooth shopping experience.
* Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism, whether in person or over the phone, turning dissatisfied customers into loyal ones.
* Stay current on retail and fashion trends by following RIXO on all social media platforms. Share this information with RIXO customers to enhance their shopping experience.
* Build and maintain a loyal client base by establishing long-term relationships with customers.
* Be knowledgeable about store and individual sales targets, understanding how the store is performing against plans and previous year results.
* Take an active role in coaching the team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
* Foster a positive "can-do" attitude across the team, encouraging collaboration and contributing to a supportive working atmosphere.
* Inspire and motivate the team by leading with integrity and setting a high standard for performance.
* Assist in the development of new starters, providing guidance and support as they settle into their roles.
* Maintain high standards of product merchandising, ensuring displays and department fixtures are visually appealing and organized.
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures, ensuring the wellbeing, safety, and security of yourself, customers, and colleagues.

Your experience:
* Great communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledgeable and interested in fashion/trends
* Proven track record in sales and customer service
* Previous experience with contemporary bridal wear is desirable
* Previous experience working as part of a leadership team
* You will be technology literate with a good working knowledge of Web.
