Responsibilities
Are you an experienced Nursing Head of Care, with the passion to make a difference? Can you lead a team of people to deliver outstanding care to our residents, whilst encouraging them to always do their best? As Head of Care, Nursing, you'll support the Home Manager in managing the Home, with a particular emphasis on clinical leadership, to ensure that an excellent standard of nursing care is set, delivered and maintained at all times.
You'll carry out initial assessments of potential residents, supporting them and their families through the process. You'll produce individual care plans, administer medication and provide strong care knowledge, leadership, support and guidance to the nursing and care teams.

Chesham Leys care home is an accessible nursing home with 62 residents in a purpose-built facility. The Home provides a nurturing, engaging and rewarding environment. Located near the town centre and on a local bus route, each of our three floors has its own character and plenty of shared spaces.

Qualifications
You will be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC pin, have previous line management experience in an elderly care environment and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You should be committed to promoting and developing the highest standards of care, be a positive role model with excellent communication skills, and naturally get along with others. As a supportive leader, you'll motivate your team to deliver the best possible care to our residents.
