Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Etive House Care Home, a Care Concern Group facility located in Benderloch, Oban. In this role you will support the culinary team with the preparation and delivery of nutritious, high‑quality meals while ensuring the kitchen remains clean, safe, and well‑organised. Your work will play a key part in creating a positive dining experience for our residents.

* Salary: £12.21 per hour

What You Will Do
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help prepare and serve meals to a high standard, keeping the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. You will maintain a clean and hygienic environment, safely store and rotate stock, and assist with checking deliveries. You will follow food safety and health & safety guidelines, support cleaning schedules, and work closely with the wider team to ensure excellent service for residents.
What We’re Looking For

* Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene (training provided)
* Reliability and willingness to learn (previous kitchen experience helpful but not essential)
