Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fundraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our organisation's mission. This role requires strong marketing skills, relationship management abilities, and proficiency in CRM software to effectively engage with donors and stakeholders. The Fundraiser will play a crucial role in enhancing our public relations efforts and driving successful fundraising campaigns.
Duties
* Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to meet organisational goals.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
* Utilise CRM software, including Raiser's Edge, to track donor interactions, manage relationships, and analyse fundraising data.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials that highlight fundraising initiatives.
* Organise fundraising events, including logistics planning, promotion, and follow-up activities.
* Provide exceptional customer service to donors and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
* Prepare reports on fundraising progress and outcomes for internal stakeholders.
* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in fundraising and public relations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fundraising or a related field is highly desirable.
* Strong marketing skills with the ability to create engaging content for various platforms.
* Excellent relationship management skills, with a track record of building rapport with diverse audiences.
* Proficiency in CRM software; experience with Raiser's Edge is an advantage.
* Outstanding customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and empathy in all interactions.
* Strong public relations acumen with the ability to represent the organisation positively in various settings.
