Role: Land Manager - Midlands Division
We are recruiting for a Land Manager to oversee land acquisition and applications, supporting our development strategy.
The successful candidate will identify, research, and appraise new sites, negotiate prices and terms with vendors and agents, and assess project feasibility through benchmarking, costing, and liaising with internal teams.
Excellent communication skills are essential for sharing planning and site information with teams, updating site valuations, and managing budgets to reflect current proposals and market values.
What We Are Looking For
* Extensive land management experience in new home development
* Understanding of land purchase processes and relevant regulations
* Knowledge of design and construction processes
* Confidence in chairing meetings and engaging with consultants
* Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder relationship skills
* Organizational and workload management abilities under pressure
* Experience in leading presentations and group meetings
* Vision, commitment, and enthusiasm for change
* Influential, good listener, and negotiation skills
* Resilience during challenging negotiations
Degree in Real Estate, Town Planning, Urban Planning, or related discipline is required.
