Business Development Executive
We have a great opportunity for a Business Development/Account Manager to join our commercial sales team. The role will involve 50% account management and development, and 50% generating new accounts. We are seeking a sales/business development/account management professional with a good understanding of consultative selling, ideally from IT Hardware or Managed Print/MFP sales.
The ideal candidate will be located within easy access to the A1 and able to cover a territory including Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, and Kings Lynn.

Key Responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maximize sales opportunities.
2. Achieve and surpass sales targets and KPIs in line with sales objectives.
3. Update the sales CRM system with customer records, next actions, and sales processes in real-time, and produce accurate monthly sales forecasts.
4. Retain customer accounts and win repeat business.
5. Grow and develop new business customers through proactive prospecting.
6. Cross-sell from a portfolio of products and solutions using customer-centric approaches.
7. Participate in sales team meetings and 1-2-1s.
8. Research customers, competitors, and verticals to create targeted action plans.
9. Attend sales training sessions and complete all documentation to high standards.
10. Use social platforms like LinkedIn to connect and engage with contacts and promote content.
