Job Summary
Responsible for order processing of in-contract scheduling and management of supplier delivery performance in line with MPS and business requirements.
Deliver against supplier and business performance objectives focused on procured parts delivery.
Job Responsibilities
* Ensure delivery in line with operational performance requirements from suppliers across a spend of approximately £10m.
* Manage supplier scheduling in accordance with MPS and ensure the accuracy of supplier and procured parts data within the MRP system to minimize shortages and unwanted inventory.
* Maintain daily updates of supplier promise dates to ensure accurate and current supplier schedules.
* Support the Procurement Operations Manager or Site Procurement Manager in delivering the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, especially concerning external supply reviews.
* Manage suppliers to ensure they meet order commitments, identify supply risks, constraints, and bottlenecks, and escalate issues as necessary.
* Conduct external capacity reviews aligned with MPS.
* Drive ongoing supplier performance improvements.
* Manage supplier relationships and daily interactions.
* Coordinate multi-function team reviews with key suppliers.
* Communicate daily with internal customers and receiving areas.
* Adhere to standard procurement processes and daily management tasks.
* Own the supplier scorecard process to monitor and review supplier performance regularly across all levels.
* Assist SQE with supplier non-conformance issues, returns, and claims processing.
* Ensure prompt payment to suppliers by resolving invoice queries.
* Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
* Degree qualification or 2+ years experience in Supply Chain Management or Procurement roles.
* Proficiency in IT, especially Excel.
* A degree in Business Administration is desirable.
