This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with knowledge in the management of patients with Rheumatology and conditions affecting functional use of hands, including splint fabrication. You will work as part of the Rheumatology and Hand Therapy Occupational Therapy team to deliver high quality, evidence based occupational therapy intervention to individuals who are experiencing functional difficulties using their hands.
The post holder will be expected to travel across Carmarthenshire and, at times, the Health Board footprint to visit patients at home and between sites, and undertake service development. Mileage allowance is payable and a lease car scheme is available.
Welsh language skills are desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome to apply. The Health Board is committed to bilingualism and welcomes applications from Welsh speakers.

Responsibilities
* Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention for patients with Rheumatology conditions and hand-related functional difficulties.
* Deliver evidence-based interventions and, where appropriate, splint fabrication.
* Collaborate with the Rheumatology and Hand Therapy team to develop and implement patient care plans.
* Travel to patient homes and across sites as required; participate in a flexible 7-day service on a rota basis.
* Contribute to service development and drive continuous improvement in patient care and service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Occupational Therapist with demonstrable experience in Rheumatology and Hand Therapy.
* Broad knowledge of clinical specialties relevant to occupational therapy.
* Demonstrable experience in delivering high-quality patient care and service improvement.
* Ability to participate in supervision, professional development, and flexible working arrangements.
* Desirable: ability to speak Welsh.
