The Role
We are seeking a senior, results-driven sales leader to drivegrowth across Automation and Products & Equipment (P&E). You will lead a team of 10+, own the full sales lifecycle, and deliver large, complex projects while building a strong, sustainable pipeline aligned to regional strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team
Deliver order intake, revenue and margin targets
Own the bid/no-bid process and full sales lifecycle
Build strategic key accounts and drive new business opportunities
Maintain a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities
Recruit, develop and performance-manage top talent
Ensure strong sales governance, forecasting and reporting
Must-Have Requirements
Proven leadership experience in a regional/national sales role (team size 10+)
Intralogistics experience at a similar scale and complexity (current or within the last 5 years)
Demonstrated success in selling complex projects £35m+ (ideally £75m+) within the last 3 years
Strong track record of building, developing and leading high-performing teams
Experience managing the full lifecycle of complex, solution-based sales
Commercially astute with strong focus on revenue, margin and risk management
Highly driven with ambition to progress into future leadership roles
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Degree-level qualification
Strong intralogistics/automation industry experience
Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
Strategic and analytical mindset
Ability to deliver results within defined timescales
Strong financial awareness of project performance
Solid understanding of automation technologies and their application across industries
Previous line management experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
Full UK driving licence required (company car provided)
