Business Development Director – £60,000–£65,000 + bonus
We’re supporting a leading national organisation in their search for a commercially driven Business Development Director to join their Senior Leadership Team.
This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone with a proven track record of building and scaling business development teams, driving ambitious growth targets, and forging strategic partnerships at the highest levels.
The role in brief:
* Lead on strategy to grow membership and partnerships nationwide
* Build and manage a high-performing sales & account management team
* Drive new commercial opportunities (sponsorship, CSR, consultancy, etc.)
* Represent the organisation at senior industry level
* Play a key role in shaping company strategy and growth
What we’re looking for:
* 7–10 years’ experience in senior sales, business development or partnerships
* Strong background in B2B/membership/training/early careers sectors
* Proven ability to scale sales teams and deliver results against ambitious targets
* First-class stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
Based in Northants (3 days in office), with national travel
