We have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager – Homeownership to join our Homeownership team in Broadstairs. The role is lone working, there are 4 other scheme managers within the South East Homeownership team who report to the Homeownership Officer. This is a rewarding yet challenging role and is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working with older people in a housing management setting and aware of safeguarding concerns.
Role responsibilities
* Responsible for providing a high-quality housing management service, including welfare checks, and promoting independent living
* Providing tenancy advice to residents
* Encouraging residents to organise and get involved in activities
* Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
* Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
* Wellbeing calls to residents via warden call system
* Supporting the lettings team to manage vacant flats
* Providing cover at schemes in the region for other Scheme Managers
* Managing low level anti-social behaviour
