Outreach Teaching Assistant Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time Only Contract: Long-term with potential to become permanent Pay: £100-£130 per day About the Role Monarch Education is recruiting a highly skilled, flexible, and committed Outreach Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a specialist educational setting in South Derbyshire. This role involves working off site, providing 1:1 tutoring and tailored learning support for pupils who are permanently excluded or at risk of exclusion. Pupils often present with complex needs and behaviours that prevent them from accessing mainstream education. You will work with a personal caseload of learners, supporting them in their homes or in approved public venues, helping them engage in subjects such as Maths, English, PSD, and Functional Skills. This is a varied and rewarding role that requires independence, resilience, strong relationship‑building skills, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
