Estates Projects & Compliance ManagerThis is an exciting opportunity for an Estates Projects & Compliance Manager to lead estates compliance, health and safety, and facilities projects, ensuring safe, sustainable, and high-quality learning environments across a multi-site organisation.If you've also worked in the following roles, we'd also like to hear from you:Facilities Projects Manager, Estates Compliance Manager, Property Manager, Building Services Manager, Senior Estates Officer, Regional Estates Manager, Building Services Compliance Manager, Estates & Facilities ManagerSALARY: £45,580 to £52,992 per annum + BenefitsLOCATION: Supporting multiple sites across the Trust covering Coventry, Warwickshire and LeicestershireJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentWORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 3.30pmJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Estates Projects & Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering safe, compliant, and future-ready estates and facilities across a diverse education portfolio.As an Estates Projects & Compliance Manager you will provide strategic and technical leadership across estates projects, facilities management, building compliance, health and safety, and environmental initiatives, ensuring buildings remain legally compliant and operationally effective.Working closely with senior leaders, premises teams, and external contractors, the Estates Projects & Compliance Manager will oversee capital works, compliance systems, audits, and contractor management, supporting long-term sustainability and organisational priorities.DUTIESYour duties as the Estates Projects & Compliance Manager include:Estates and Facilities Management: Leading the effective management of buildings, grounds, and facilities across multiple sitesCompliance Oversight: Managing statutory building compliance, including asbestos, legionella, and health and safetyHealth and Safety Leadership: Providing audits, risk assessments, technical guidance, and compliance documentationProject Delivery: Supporting and delivering capital works and minor projects from design through to completionContractor Management: Coordinating contractors, consultants, and service providers to ensure safe working practicesBudget Management: Assisting with estates, facilities, and project budgets in line with procurement policiesEnergy and Utilities Management: Supporting sustainability initiatives, energy efficiency, and utilities monitoringAsset Management: Maintaining estates and facilities asset records and lifecycle planningReporting and Governance: Preparing reports and compliance updates for senior leadershipSite Support: Providing on-site leadership during major works to minimise operational disruptionCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSESSENTIALA minimum of HNC or HND in an estates, facilities, buildings, or engineering-related subjectA full UK driving licence with access to own transportPrevious experience managing estates or facilities compliance and health and safetyProven experience working with contractors, consultants, and CDM regulationsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interpret technical drawings and building documentationStrong ICT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and facilities management systemsDESIRABLEA relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experienceIOSH or NEBOSH health and safety qualificationExperience with asbestos and legionella managementKnowledge of energy management and sustainability initiativesExperience using AutoCAD or similar design softwareBENEFITSCompetitive rates of payProfessional development opportunitiesCareer pathways across the organisationTeacher / Local Authority Pension SchemeOnline retail discountEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFamily-friendly policiesFlexible working arrangementsThe successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and Social Media checkAPPLY TODAY By submitting your job application to us you are hereby giving us your express consent to submit your details to our Client for this purpose.JOB REF: AWDO-P14357Full-Time, Permanent Jobs, Careers and Vacancies.
