Providing technical advice and guidance on building control issues to colleagues, partner agencies and the wider public, you\'ll also process complex applications under building regulations and carry out a range of inspections.

Responsibilities
* Provide technical advice and guidance on building control issues to colleagues, partner agencies and the wider public.
* Process complex applications under building regulations.
* Carry out a range of inspections.
* Collaborate with in-house Fire Engineers and Building Regulations Engineers.
* Negotiate with design teams and major stakeholders to achieve compliance on large and complex projects.
* Apply knowledge of building regulations, including those relating to large and complex projects, to deliver compliant outcomes.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in building control (fire and structures).
* Comprehensive knowledge of the building regulations, including those which relate to large and complex projects.
* Holding full professional membership of RICS, CABE, ICE, IStructE, CIOB or a similar approved organisation.
* Licensed with the BSR at Class 2A-2F.
* Strong communication skills, problem solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure to deliver results.
