Who We Are Looking For:
We seek a meticulous Senior Editor (preferably with a science background) responsible for editing and proofreading copy to high standards for various formats, including print and digital. The ideal candidate will be an expert on their brand(s) and agency processes, ensuring quality and adherence to policies.
What You Will Do:
1. Editing and proofreading internal and external materials for clarity, organization, grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, flow, style, and formatting.
2. Fact-checking references and supporting claims.
3. Aligning materials with client-specific style guidelines and ABPI regulations.
4. Ensuring promotional content complies with ABPI regulations.
5. Participating in brand meetings and contributing to style guides.
6. Managing time effectively for timely delivery.
7. Completing weekly timesheets by 9 am Monday.
8. Performing other editorial duties as needed.
What You Bring:
* 2-3 years of medical editing experience within pharma agencies or companies.
* Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
* Strong attention to detail and familiarity with medical/scientific terminology.
* Knowledge of AMA Style (11th Edition) and guidelines like ABPI.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
* Flexibility to work beyond shift hours if necessary.
