You will oversee the full payroll cycle, manage a small team and provide expert guidance on pay matters. The role involves ensuring compliance with legislation, maintaining strong controls and driving ongoing improvements across processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the payroll team
* Deliver accurate and compliant payrolls on schedule
* Manage complex payroll queries and provide expert advice
* Oversee processing of all pay elements and statutory payments
* Maintain reconciliations, reporting and statutory submissions
* Support system improvements and payroll related projects
About You
* Strong experience in end-to-end payroll
* Proven background in leading a payroll team
* Good knowledge of payroll legislation and employment law
* Confident user of payroll systems
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail
* Clear communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships
