Keyline, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is the UK’s number one supplier of civils, heavy building materials and drainage solutions. We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Hire Manager to support our Hire Manager. In this role, you will be based at the Branch, taking responsibility for the day to day service to customers and supervision of Hire based colleagues. You will be friendly and approachable with an eye for detail, and able to keep the Branch running smoothly in the absence of the Hire Manager. You will proactively identify sales leads and support the Hire Manager to grow the business, whilst leading and motivating staff in a safe environment.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the day-to-day service to customers at the branch, and supervise Hire-based colleagues.
* Keep the branch running smoothly in the absence of the Hire Manager.
* Proactively identify sales leads and support the Hire Manager to grow the business.
* Lead and motivate staff in a safe environment.
Qualifications
* Experience in a tool/hire or similar business is preferable.
* Experience in a customer-facing role.
* Experience supervising a team is useful.
* Self-motivated, driven, and able to make the most of this opportunity.
