You will be working in the Cementation OU in Watford, Hertfordshire where we have over 100 years of foundation knowledge that underpins safe, efficient delivery across transport, energy and urban developments.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager - Extended Offerings who will be responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of civil engineering projects from initiation through to completion.
As the Project Manager - Extended Offerings, you will:
1. Create and develop successful delivery teams in collaboration with the Works Manager.
2. Manage, supervise, train and mentor the project team to enable them to optimise their work contribution.
3. Set targets to measure performance, and drive continuous improvement.
4. Develop potential future work opportunities through relationships with clients, suppliers and members of the construction community.
5. Ensure the coordination of and communication between all parts of the operation team including Suppliers, Contractors, Engineering, Safety and Environmental team and Clients’ team.
We are looking for:
6. Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering or Project Management
7. Understanding of Highways Industry and construction contract law and forms.
8. Extensive knowledge and experience of civils delivery and construction techniques/ best practices.
9. CSCS Card/SMSTS
10. Understanding of procurement and financing processes.
