We're seeking a Management Accountant (Grade 9) to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the delivery of timely, accurate management reporting, lead key elements of the month-end close, and work closely with cost centre managers to support budgeting, forecasting and financial decision-making. You will also act as a first-line support for our finance systems, ensuring data accuracy and smooth reporting processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone progressing through their ACCA, CIMA or ACA studies who wants to deepen their experience across management accounting in a complex, purpose-driven organisation.
What you'll do:
* Produce accurate management reports across departments, cost centres, projects and the wider business
* Lead month-end activities for Supporting Services, including journals, variance analysis, forecasting and reporting
* Maintain and manage all accruals and prepayments
* Prepare and reconcile key balance sheet accounts
* Maintain finance systems and support updates within the reporting function
* Manage the fixed asset register and associated policy
* Act as the first point of contact for financial reporting queries, providing clear, high-quality guidance
* Support the annual budgeting and business planning cycle, collaborating with cost centre managers and producing rolling forecasts
What you'll bring:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial work
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and balance multiple priorities
* Strong Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office
* Confident communicator, able to support and influence a range of stakeholders
* A collaborative mindset and desire to develop within a supportive team
* Progression towards a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
