Legal Executive – Litigation Department

Contract: Full-time preferred; part-time considered

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Legal Executive to join our busy litigation department. You’ll play a key role in supporting our solicitors, managing files, and ensuring the smooth running of our litigation caseload.
What You’ll Do
* Draft court proceedings and prepare court bundles
* Manage diaries and coordinate schedules
* Answer and direct telephone calls, handling queries and messages professionally
* Assist solicitors with file management and administrative duties
* Review discovery and medical records
* Transcribe from digital dictation
* Instruct counsel as required
* Open and close files, and manage incoming/outgoing post
* Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider business
* Perform other administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
* At least 1 years’ experience in a litigation support role (legal executive, paralegal, or secretary)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
* Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Professional, approachable, and able to maintain confidentiality
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (desirable)
