The Opportunity
As a senior interior architect, you will lead concept development and detailed design, taking ownership of projects from initial briefing through to site. You’ll steer the design narrative, review coordinated drawing packages, direct material and FF&E specification, and ensure all schemes uphold the studio’s standards for beauty, performance, budget, and programme. In this role, you will take technical lead across high-end residential schemes from RIBA Stages 2–5, working on Prime Central London projects and ensuring seamless delivery from concept to completion. You will mentor junior designers, foster a collaborative environment, and maintain a proactive and detail-driven approach throughout all stages of design and construction.
* Lead the development and preparation of concept and detailed designs, including presentations, spatial layouts, and finish schedules, with a solid understanding of interior detailing across all RIBA stages
* Oversee tender documentation and FF&E specification, including cost and programme management, producing clear and precise drawings, technical packages, and design schedules
* Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, fabricators, and contractors throughout the project, liaising with engineers, architects, contractors, and site managers to ensure design integration and project success
* Attend site meetings and lead on-site design resolution to ensure accurate delivery, assisting in construction stages and demonstrating strong problem-solving capability
* 7–10+ years’ experience delivering high-end UK residential interiors, proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp beneficial but not essential
* Strong technical ability, excellent communication skills, leadership mindset; collaborative and highly organised, with proven experience across all RIBA stages, exceptional attention to detail, strong presentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
