Senior Sales Rep - Chemistry Instrumentation
Are you an experienced chemistry instrumentation sales professional based in the North of England? Are you looking for a new challenge? They are currently looking to hire a Senior Salesperson responsible for driving sales for the company’s product portfolio across the North of England.
With a global reach supported by subsidiaries and distributors, the company emphasizes sustainability and innovation, with recent expansions to its facilities and a renewed commitment to cutting-edge R&D.
As this is a Senior Sales position, we are seeking motivated, experienced candidates with 3+ years of field sales experience who are also interested in future career progression. Opportunities for team leadership and overseas distributor management will be available as the business grows.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
2. Build and nurture relationships with academic institutions, research laboratories, and industrial customers.
3. Present and demonstrate the company’s product portfolio, emphasizing their application in battery technology and energy research.
4. Identify new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
5. Collaborate with the internal team to deliver exceptional customer support and address technical inquiries.
6. Provide market feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies.
7. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
What You’ll Bring:
* A scientific academic background (e.g., degree in Chemistry, Physics, or related field).
* Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within the field of chemistry or scientific instrumentation.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Results-oriented mindset with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
* Ability to travel within the North of England.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
