About the apprenticeship
Duties
•You will receive training to fit and install electrical components to heavy vehicles.
•You will be trained to undertake electrical diagnostics using manual or laptop devices.
•To commit to punctual attendance for day-to-day work and day release training at college
Additional information
Hours of Work
Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 16:15 or 07:00 – 17:15 (1/2 hr lunch unpaid).
Minimum 39 Hour Week before any overtime is paid.
Overtime
Time & half for hours worked Monday – Saturday.
Double time for hours worked Sunday.
Requirements
Qualifications
•4 GCSEs A-C grade would be desirable•IT literate
•Have a keen interest in a career in mechanical and electrical engineering
•Have a professional and courteous manner at all times
•Good communication skills
•Able to continue to learn and take on new tasks as and when presented
•Able to work as part of a team
