TheMain Purpose of the Job of theTeam Leaderis:
Tobe accountable for the planning organising and all operationsduring their shift.
Deliver highquality advice and guidance foster good morale and team spiritamongst the staffteams.
Ensure thehighest standards of physical social and emotional care is offeredexceeding any guidance and standards set by external organisationssuch as Ofsted CQC LocalAuthorities.
The dutiesof the TeamLeaderare:
Befamiliar and stay up to date with the knowledge and skills requiredto meet the needs of the people who use theservice.
Remain informedand engaged on all relevant matters relating to young people yousupport.
Retain the fullconfidence of the registeredprovider.
Gain and holdthe respect of staff providing positiveleadership.
Maintain goodrelationships with children and youngpeople.
Manage theservice s administrative financial and planning operationsefficiently.
Cooperate fullywith regulatorybodies.
Perform spotchecks and carry out full audits at allplacements.
Ensure annualappraisals and regular supervisions are carriedout.
Ensure allreports are ready for seniormanagement.
Carry out visualchecks and report on company vehicles includingmileage.
Ensure staffinglevels are accurate and have all shiftscovered.
Topromote a good quality of life for our serviceusers.
Have the abilityto make difficult decisions and problem solve to achieve positiveoutcomes.
Toachieve compliance with all requirements of the regulatorscommissioners and other statutory agencies in the most effectiveway.
Toensure all safeguarding risks are acted upon immediately and therelevant action taken to mitigate therisk.
We arelooking for SupportWorkers with some of thefollowing skills andattributes:
* Rightto Work in theUK
* Previousexperience in a leadership or supervisory rolepreferred.
* Strongtime management skills to prioritise tasks and meetdeadlines.
* Excellentphone etiquette and communicationskills.
* Proficientin administrative tasks such as scheduling record keeping and dataentry.
* Highlyorganized with the ability to multitask and handle multipleresponsibilities.
* Diplomaof Higher Education(preferred)
