About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join a leading construction business. This is a varied, office-based role where you’ll be supporting the smooth running of operations, handling payroll tasks, and resolving invoice queries. The successful candidate will already have experience working within the construction sector and will be confident managing administration in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day administrative support across the office.
* Process payroll accurately and in line with company deadlines.
* Manage invoice queries, liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
* Assist with preparation of reports, documents, and project-related administration.
* Support the wider office team with ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
* Previous office-based experience within the construction sector (essential).
* Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Experience processing payroll and dealing with invoice queries.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* High attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
* Proactive, organised, and confident working as part of a busy team.
