Hawthorn Timber part of Summit Timber are proud to announce that we are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role/industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Hours:
Monday to Friday 7:30am until 4:30pm
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Timber Industry experience essential
* Carrying timber using straps and ratchets to secure the load
* Have no more than 6 points
* Valid Driving License
* Strong attention to detail and Health and Safety awareness
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
* Excellent communication skills
* Adaptability to meet operational demands

Responsibilities:
* Deliver goods accurately and on time to designated locations
* Load and unload goods securely and efficiently
* Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and communicate any challenges.
* Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
* Minimum of 2 years' Class 2 driving experience.
* CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and digital tachograph card.
* Clean driving record (no more than 6 points).
