Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
* Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
* Manage and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive working environment.
* Coordinate food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Implement training programmes for staff on food safety, cooking techniques, and customer service excellence.
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary while managing costs effectively.
* Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Monitor customer feedback to enhance service quality and address any concerns promptly.
* Ensure that all staff members are trained in hospitality best practices and uphold the restaurant's values.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervision.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
* Previous experience in barista duties or hotel management is advantageous but not essential.
