Supplier Risk and Relationship Manager (12 Months FTC)

Working Pattern: Hybrid—typically one day a week in the office and due to the responsibilities of this role, occasional onsite travel to suppliers across the UK will be required. The Role
We're looking for a Supplier Risk and Relationship Manager to lead oversight of our critical suppliers, ensuring compliance with our Third-Party Risk Management Framework. You'll manage supplier risks, drive performance reviews, and support contract governance, working closely with stakeholders across the business.

You'll join a supportive, expert team that values collaboration and continuous improvement. Working closely with Execs, Business Owners, and suppliers to deliver real value and mitigate risk—always with a focus on doing the right thing.
As a Supplier Risk and Relationship Manager, you will:
* Act as an expert and advisor across all areas of supplier relationship management and supplier related risk.
* Ensure appropriate oversight, governance and reporting is in place for your suppliers, ensuring we remain compliant with our Third-Party Risk Management Framework (TPRM).
* Ensure high quality performance reviews are held in line with the TPRM Framework ensuring Business Owners are actively engaged.
* Proactively manage risk; ensure any supplier risks are documented, raised in line with Group policies and actions are in place to mitigate where possible.
* Work with Finance and Budget Owners to improve tracking and reconciliation or supplier spend.
* Support the maintenance, refresh and testing of Exit Plans.
* To proactively seek and build continuous and meaningful engagement with the business and suppliers to shape services and improve value delivered from the supply chain.
* Support the production of monthly Supplier Performance Dashboards for the TPRM Steering Committee.
* Proactively identify and act on opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, increase productivity, and grow our business.
* Managing contractual processes and formal contract changes/renewals alongside the Business Owner, Procurement & Legal.
* Deputise for the Senior Supplier Relationship Manager when required.
What We're Looking For
* Demonstrable working knowledge in supplier risk and assurance activities, including reporting and measurement.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Good time management, able to prioritise and delegate where appropriate
* Experience as a Supplier Relationship Manager within a Financial Service is essential
* Experience with IT Supplier management focus is highly beneficial
* Chartered Institute Of Procurement (CIPS) Qualifications is desirable
