About the role
We are looking for a Team Leader to work in our newly refurbished shop at Tattershall Lakes. It is a fast-paced busy environment, selling everything from the basics to toys and souvenirs. Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.
A can-do attitude, attention to detail and excellent people skills are essential. Being available to work evenings and weekends including bank holidays are also essential.
What you will be doing
We need someone who understands that a first-class guest experience is an essential part of their stay at Tattershall Lakes. Here are some of the things you will be doing:
1. Meeting and greetings guests with a friendly welcome
2. Ensuring team are all looking after our guests
3. Cashing up at the end of shifts
4. Open up or close down of the facility
5. Ensuring restocking at the end of a shift
6. Complying with all the legal requirements
7. Serving on your own, or within a team
8. Replenishing shelves and facing up
9. Helping bring in deliveries
10. Basic cooking of pastries and bread
11. Keeping your area clean, tidy, and well-stocked
12. Generally making sure everybody is having a great time
And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you are happy to help even when it is ‘not your job,’ you are our sort of person.
Skills, experience, and qualities you will need
We have high standards! We will train you up, its would be nice if you:
13. Have customer service experience and skills
14. Relish the fast pace of a busy shop
15. Be someone who does things without needing to be asked
16. Be a people person; easy to talk to and never happy until your guests are
17. Have experience of working in a team
