This is a pivotal role designed to deliver and develop world-class stroke and TIA services across the region. The Trust’s Stroke service has a proven track record of excellence, consistently achieving SSNAP A or B ratings. You will join a forward-thinking Integrated Care System (ICS) team committed to a strategic vision of 7-day service excellence, including advanced ambulatory care and enhanced early supported discharge (ESD). The Service & Technology * Integrated Model: The unit features a 26-bedded combined ward including a 6-bedded Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU), acute, and rehabilitation beds. * Advanced Diagnostics: Access to onsite MRI (2 scanners) and CT (2 scanners), utilizing Rapid AI for scan interpretation and CT perfusion. * Specialist Support: Work alongside an established team of Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) available 8am–8pm, 7 days a week, plus a fully qualified ACP. * Intervention Pathways: Established pathways for Thrombolysis and Thrombectomy (in collaboration with regional neurosurgical centres).
