About the Role As a Trainee Sales Specialist, you will learn every aspect of the vehicle sales process, gaining hands-on experience in customer interaction, product knowledge, and dealership operations. Working alongside our experienced sales team, you will be guided through structured training to develop the confidence and skills needed to achieve success in the role. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who is passionate about cars, confident in communicating with people, and motivated by achieving targets and delivering excellent customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Assist customers both in the showroom and online, ensuring a professional and friendly experience. Learn to identify customer needs and match them with the right vehicle solutions. Support vehicle presentations, test drives, and digital demonstrations. Understand and assist with finance and product options. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity. Work closely with the sales and management teams to achieve performance goals. Engage in ongoing training and development to build product and brand knowledge. Ideal Candidate Strong interest in the automotive industry and a passion for delivering great customer service. Excellent communication skills with a confident, positive attitude. Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced sales environment. Motivated by achieving personal and team goals. Good organisational and IT skills. Previous retail or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential. Full UK driving licence preferred (or working towards obtaining one). Local to Ipswich or able to reliably commute.
