Overview

Location – London & Guildford. Job type – Full-Time. Hours of work – Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm (40 hours per week). Contract type – Permanent. Hybrid working – Two days in the office, three days remote (upon successful completion of probation); full-time in the office for the first 3 months. We are seeking a proactive, dynamic and service minded Immigration Coordinator/Consultant to join our UK Immigration Services team based at our London & Guildford Head Office.

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Immigration Coordinator/Immigration Consultant to support our corporate UK immigration team. You may already be a regulated adviser with the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA) or have a strong interest in UK Immigration. If not already completed, you will study to become a regulated immigration adviser with the IAA during the first months (est. 6 months). Training will be provided through internal and external courses. You will provide administrative support to the team and support K2\'s UK Immigration team in an administrative capacity, working with a wide range of immigration processes and tasks.

You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, offer timely assistance in a fast-paced environment, and act as a point of contact for assignees and HR representatives, coordinating and tracking all aspects of the end-to-end immigration case lifecycle.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm. Hybrid working applies, two days based in our London & Guildford offices after successful completion of probation, to perform the role and build relationships as part of the K2 culture.


Main duties and responsibilities

* Support the UK based team through initiation, management and execution (when applicable) of all immigration services.
* This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
* UK inbound permits:
o Skilled Worker and GBM Certificates of sponsorship
o Leave to Remain and Entry Clearance applications
o ILR, Citizenship and Naturalisation applications
* Prepare and organise immigration-related documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness for visa applications, work permits, and other relevant processes.
* Maintain up-to-date records of all immigration cases, tracking progress and providing regular status updates to clients and internal teams.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and their HR teams, providing proactive support and responding promptly to any immigration queries.
* Work with the UK Immigration team to identify and resolve issues in the immigration process, using a solution-based approach to address client needs.
* Identify opportunities to streamline and improve immigration processes to enhance client service delivery.
* Assist with regulation based research where necessary.
* Work toward building knowledge of OISC\'s rules and codes of practice.
* Ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner and in compliance with company policies and guidelines.
* Ensure all files are set up in accordance with K2 policy and internal operation systems, and that information is recorded promptly and accurately.
* Ensure all reports are updated and sent to the client account manager in line with Account Brief.
* Assist and manage client invoice processing, ensuring they are processed and filed accordingly.
* Complying to GDPR & ISO, and to relevant legislation.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Consultative and proactive approach.
* Work under instruction with limited supervision.

* Demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills.
* Be flexible in a changing working environment.
* Demonstrate confidence and professionalism in client interactions.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
* Excellent presentation skills.
