About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Repairs Manager tojoin our City Centre Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring thatrepairs are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.You will manage a team of Operatives delivering responsive andempty homes works throughout our properties. You will act asoperational lead for providing an excellent repair service,resolving issues quickly and maintain strong visibility acrosscommunities, homes and local teams.
Some of themain responsibilities of the role will include:
- Taking ownership for providing and deliveringan efficient and timely repairs service in your area (includingempty homes) as well as supporting other teams, including but notlimited to customer enquiries / satisfaction, quality assurance,efficient working and swift resolution of issues.
- To carry out managerial duties and monitor operativeperformance and efficiency as well as supporting with H&S andCompliance matters i.e. carrying out inspections, risk assessmentsand toolbox talk.- Ability to mentor, coach andmotivate employees to deliver excellent solution-focused servicesand demonstrate the attitude and behaviours expected of a residentfocused organisation support high levels of staff engagement and todeliver high levels of tenant satisfaction by contributing toservice improvement.

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivatedindividual with experience or a good knowledge of the building /construction industry. A HNC or similar qualification isadvantageous. This individual will be proactive and have theability to use their own initiative
Thesuccessful candidate will have experience of managing tradeoperatives with an excellent ability to influence and support linereports and the ability to communicate both verbally and written atall levels. You will be a champion of digital improvement with astrong digital competency. A driving licence and access to ownvehicle is essential as travel throughout Norfolk will berequired.
