Mechanical Supervisor (Merlin)
to join our dedicated team at the Royal Navy Air Station (RNAS) Culdrose. As a key player in supporting the
Integrated Merlin Operational Support (IMOS)
and
Aircraft Engineering Support and Aviation Support (AESAS)
, you will be involved in everything from aircraft repair and maintenance to off-aircraft support services. RNAS Culdrose is one of the busiest military airfields in the UK, and your contributions will make a real difference! Your Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise aircraft engineering services at RNAS Culdrose. Ensure compliance with operational deliverables in a highly regulated environment. Support the maintenance and repair of military aircraft. What You'll Need:
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years in an airworthiness environment, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Merlin aircraft. Certification:
Ability to hold a Certificate of Competency for Supervisory level. Knowledge:
Familiarity with Merlin Aircraft Engineering, servicing, and support equipment. Understanding of Lean Operating Procedures and Health and Safety regulations. Experience with Engineering and Asset Management Systems. Completion or ability to complete a Maintenance Human Factors course. What We Offer:
