Job Title: Release Manager - Automotive Projects
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Surrey (Hybrid)
Salary: £40/45 (Outside IR35)
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Release Manager on a contract basis to lead the coordination of product data, change control, and release processes across critical build phases of vehicle platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead release planning and governance of CAD data, BOMs, and engineering change activity.
* Manage structured change control processes across multiple vehicle systems and assemblies.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to validate release readiness and part status.
* Own the release lifecycle ensuring version accuracy and traceability.
* Produce part release tracking, change status dashboards, and KPI reports for leadership.
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support early build phases.
